Broome web has been redesigned and redefined.  The goal is to become the areas premiere resource on the Internet.  A website that provides guests with locally relevant information and insight, that enhances their daily lives.  Our ambitious project aspires to appeal to all demographics of Broome County residents and will feature specific content for each.  Here are the ways we intend to reach our goals:

A portal of information featuring a directory of local business' and organizations as well as informative articles from local experts.  These organizations will be welcome to submit listings and information.  They will be offered low cost marketing options via. Broomeweb.com .  This will give them the opportunity to provide enhanced content to potential customers.  I.E. Broomeweb.com/_______

This "broomewebpage" a single page website will allow our partners to showcase their organization.  In addition relevant content submitted by local experts in fields such as real estate, finance, health, cooking etc.  We will also feature a classifieds section that features apartments, real estate, vehicle, goods, and job listings.  Our cost effective marketing options will allow our affiliates to list any employment opportunities with us, this will result in job listings for openings not usually found in classifieds, connecting businesses to local talent in many fields.  An additional section will allow independent contractors from home improvement, health care, child care etc will be able to showcase and advertise their services in both the classifieds and directory.

 

 

An online lifestyle guide for residents.  Separate sections aimed at an array of demographics.  Segmented for gender, age etc these sections will include guides and articles to enhance peoples lives. Arts, entertainment, health, fashion and more.  For example our dining section will make choosing a restaurant simple with downloadable menu's and pictures, as well as broomeweb reviews and discounts. A nightlife guide and calendar of local events will keep guests up to date on what's happening in Broome.  Contributors from around the county will be encouraged to submit their communities events and invite everyone.  We will also offer related articles from featured broomeweb contributors and allow residents to voice they're opinion.

Broome Web Events and Community Involvement

 

In the current economic environment and following recent local events we aspire to create unity and build a true community in our area.  We intend to create, sponsor and promote local events ranging from broome web social events and happy hours, to local block parties and neighborhood improvement projects.  We will also partner with private enterprise, non profit, and government organizations to help improve broome county and the lives of its residents.  We will connect residents and show them that you don't have to live next door to be a neighbor.
